On January 5th Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats held a press conference in the Capitol to highlight the GOP's one year anniversary leading the House of Representatives without a jobs agenda.

Republicans don't do enough to let
the public know how the Democrats are refusing to even vote on
any of their jobs bills.

They should be going on every show that will have them and tell about the bills they have sent to the Senate that aren't even allowed a vote.

At a Capitol press conference on Thursday a reporter asked Pelosi: “Was the Congress in recess yesterday, and are you at all worried that President Obama has set a precedent that may make it easy for a president in the future to circumvent Congress when making appointments?”

Pelosi said: “I’m very proud of the president of the United States and the appointments that he made yesterday. I’m very glad that he did and it’s important for the American people to know what challenges face him as he tries to provide leadership for the agencies of government, which have been voted on by the Congress, are part of our public policy.”

The TSA was created as part of the Aviation and Transportation Security Act, sponsored by Don Young in the United States House of Representatives and Ernest Hollings in the Senate, passed by the 107th U.S. Congress, and signed into law by President George W. Bush on November 19, 2001

Number of Employees 58,401 (2011)

Annual budget $8.1 billion (2012)

Growing bigger every day.

Whataya mean the Republicans don't know how to create jobs?

Is this woman really this stupid, or does she just think the rest of us are?

The 'unemployment rate' dropping primarily because people found jobs is a wee bit different from the 'unemployment rate' dropping primarily because people gave up on trying to find a job.

Since the Republicans have taken control of the house the unemployment rate has dropped from 9.4 to 8.5

Keep your eye on Waukesha, Wisconsin......Their biggest employer just moved out. General Electric is planning to move its 115-year-old X-ray division from Waukesha, Wis., to Beijing. In addition to moving the headquarters, the company will invest $2 billion in China and train more than 65 engineers and create six research centers. This is the same GE that made $5.1 billion in the United States last year, but paid no taxes - the same company that employs more people overseas than it does in the United States. So let me get this straight. President Obama appointed GE Chairman Jeff Immelt (a huge Democrat donor) to head his commission on job creation (job czar). Immelt is supposed to help create jobs. I guess the President forgot to tell him in which country he was supposed to be creating those jobs. Thanks Jeff, you're a "real" American....give Barrack our Best! If this doesn't show you the total lack of leadership of this President, I don't know what does.
